and the Oscar goes to: The King's Speech.

Directed by Tom Hooper. It stars Colin Firth as King George the sixth, who stutters and in the process of curing his stuttering ways, hires Lionel Logue and unorthodox speech therapist played by Geoffrey Rush.

Let me cut to the chase, most British movies are the talking type, the long whinny dialogues that will either bore you or excite you, but the saving grace of this movie is the extremely painful portrayal of Colin Firth as a monarch who is struggling with stuttering. As I go along for almost two hours of watching the movie,  I can't help but be emotionally move by the acting of Colin Firth, engaging and fragile acting. Geoffrey Rush was awesome as the supporting role and Helena Bonham Carter was sparkling as the wife of King George the sixth.
If you can get pass the stretchiness of the long-windedness of the storyline, then you might find it an excellent movie to watch.
